Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) - Hujjat al-Islam Ahmad Farrokhfal condemned Al Khalifah's crackdown on dissent in Bahrain and criticized them for oppressing the Bahraini popular uprising.

The scholar said, "Islamic seminaries as well as Muslim scholars, as followers of Shaykh Isa's movement, voice solidarity with this religious figure and support his cause."

Head of the Qom Seminary further added, "This revolutionary leader stood up to fight for Bahrainis' rights, to preserve genuine Islamic teachings and to guide the Bahraini nation toward felicity. Therefore, the Islamic seminaries, Shia sources of emulation, seminary lecturers as well as clerics in Qom and Najaf voice solidarity with Shaykh Isa and strongly slam the inhumane atrocities of Al Khalifah."

"Undoubtedly, the International community will not keep silent in the face of al Khalifah's crimes and crackdown on dissent; they will neither be intimidated nor influenced by the Bahraini regime's propaganda; so, if the Bahraini rulers wish to maintain their international ties with other nations, they will most certainly face isolation," Hujjat al-Islam Farrokhfal concluded.
